Bahir Dar Saints Church Baptism Cermony
Pastor Tsegaye and his congregation from Bahir Dar, Ethiopia sends greetings in the name of the Lord!
He writes:
- Since the time we began ministering on behalf our Lord, He has blessed us with a bountiful harvest, a tremendous outpouring of the Spirit's fruits. Lost souls are increasing in number.
Recently we held a baptism service for those who recently claimed Christ as their savior (pictures above). Please join us in returning thanks to our Lord for this great thing! As if this is not enough, we anticipate another round of baptisms soon! This is an exciting time. We will keep you posted.
May the Lord enlarge us in number and in ministry! Blessings to you.
CATHY BUSHNELL'S FEBRUARY/MARCH UPDATE
Dear Family and Friends,
The time has flown by since I last wrote at the end of January. I must admit for most of February I didn’t want to write a newsletter because the events in Kenya were too frustrating and depressing. The areas of greatest disturbance at the moment are Nakuru and Naivasha, 3 hours and 1 ˝ hour drives from Nairobi. Some days the situation seems bleak but I take great comfort in knowing that we serve a mighty God. He is able! ...
URGENT prayer request from Cathy Bushnell 1/2/08
Dear Family and Friends,
Many of you have been contacting me with concerns related to the post-election violence in Kenya so I felt an update was necessary. I have been trying to post things on my website but have not been able to get a strong internet connection so hope this gets out to you!
The national election last week on December 27th has sparked great unrest and tension in the country, specifically related to allegations of vote rigging and unjust practices at polling places and within the national election committee. This has sparked violence between those supporting the two opposing political parties of Kenya, PNU and ODM. Tribal clashes have
